Your Responsibilities:
  • Deliver holistic, evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health issues, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. This encompasses education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.
  • Administer immunizations and injections (including but not limited to COVID-19, influenza, TB) and provide evidence-based vaccine counseling and education.
  • Conduct phlebotomy and specimen collection services.
  • Assess patients during intake.
  • Measure vital signs.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG and Retinopathy screening.
  • Conduct Point of Care testing (including COVID testing).
  • Facilitate patient registration and intake, assist with waiting room management, and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
  • Order supplies and prepare the clinic to ensure the best patient experience.
  • Support our mission to help individuals on their journey to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities.
Required Qualifications:
  • At least one year of relevant experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record documentation.
  • Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and conduct Point of Care Testing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when required by protocol.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Phlebotomy Certificate or relevant phlebotomy experience preferred. If not experienced, must successfully complete internal phlebotomy training.
  • Prior experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings.
Licensure/Certifications:
  • The LPN/LVN must possess a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
Education:
  • Graduate of a Practical or Vocational Nursing program approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)) at the time the program was completed.
