At Surgery Partners, we are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist in Preoperative Care to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to work in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

This full-time position provides direct clinical patient care, preparing patients for surgery. The ideal candidate will have experience in preoperative or critical care areas and be able to evaluate, plan, implement, and document patient care, observations, and medical history.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and prepare patients for surgery, including starting IVs
  • Provide direct clinical patient care, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure
  • BLS and ACLS certification, with PALS preferred
  • A minimum of one year of experience in preoperative or critical care areas
