About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team at DTE Energy. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical and project support for various projects, including EPC projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful implementation of these projects, from development to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for EPC projects, including performing technical due diligence activities and reviewing project documentation.
  • Screen projects from a technical perspective to determine project viability and prepare performance test procedures.
  • Manage outside contractors and consultants, and develop cost estimates and manage budgets.
  • Work closely with suppliers, contractors, and engineering firms to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering or construction fields, including experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
  • Strong working knowledge of equipment, including gas turbines, steam turbines, and electrical distribution equipment.
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with functional and business leaders.
