Overview

Concentra is seeking a skilled Physician PRN to join our team in Columbus, OH. As a valued member of our patient care team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients. Our mission is to improve the health of America's workforce, one patient at a time.

As a Physician PRN, you will be responsible for performing medical assessments, establishing and monitoring a medically appropriate level of care for center patients, and maintaining clinical core competency. You will also be expected to assure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies, and meet with employers to discuss health and safety needs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform medical assessments of center patients
  • Establish and monitor a medically appropriate level of care for center patients
  • Maintain clinical core competency
  • Assure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies
  • Meet with employers to discuss health and safety needs
  • Conduct workplace walk-through and other on-site assessments
  • Provide guidance to other medical staff in the absence of the Center Medical Director
  • Provide an excellent, compassionate, and warm patient experience
Qualifications
  • Current unrestricted medical license in the state of jurisdiction
  • Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction
  • Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Concentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative, and Flexibility
  • Ability to make decisions or solve problems using logic
  • Ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to supervise, evaluate, coach, and develop staff
  • Ability to put patients first and enjoy treating patients
