Job Title: Home Care Scheduler

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Home Care Scheduler to join our team at Loving Home Care Professionals LLC. As a Home Care Scheduler, you will be responsible for providing continuity of care for clients, facilitating the provision of in-home care and support services, and arranging for the uninterrupted continuing care of the client.

Responsibilities:

\t* Serve as a liaison between client, caregiver, and owner
\t* Schedule shifts and hours by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to clients' needs
\t* Communicate new assignments and/or schedule changes to caregivers and clients
\t* Answer phone calls from prospects and route to proper person/owner
\t* Participate in on-call rotation as assigned
\t* Contact clients and caregivers for follow-up on service delivery and determine satisfaction of services
\t* Provide day-to-day office assistance, answer routine correspondence, and maintain client, employee, payroll, billing, and related accounting data into computer as required
\t* Order and maintain office supplies, forms, and equipment
\t* Participate in office meetings
\t* Maintain scheduling office metrics in spreadsheet and ensure all shifts are filled, monitored, and new cases are also getting worked on
\t* Process employment applications and assist in other employment activities, screening, interviewing, reference checking, and new employee orientation according to established guidelines
\t* Assign clients to the appropriate care managers for supervision and case monitoring and on-call contacts
\t* Use cloud-based scheduling software, experience in HHAeXchanage software is a plus
\t* Maintain an up-to-date list of on-call and backup staff and use to secure last-minute coverage
\t* Communicate with caregivers regarding any updates or changes to their schedule
\t* Communicate with managers and clients to inform them of any schedule or staffing changes
\t* Assist in the hiring, training, and management of new staff

Requirements:

\t* High school diploma or GED
\t* Previous experience as a Home Care Scheduler or in a similar position is preferred
\t* Highly organized with attention to detail
\t* Comfortable with Microsoft Office and other computer programs
\t* Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
\t* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
