Job Title: Machinist II - Precision Parts Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Machinist II to join our team at B & J Industries LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality machined parts according to customer specifications and internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Use blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels of finished products
* Review blueprints, written specifications, or examine damaged parts to identify areas for improvement
* Select appropriate machines and cutting tools for the job
* Plan sequence of machining operations and required mathematical calculations
* Monitor feed and speed of machine, ensuring all equipment and setups are held securely

Requirements:

* Minimum two years general machinist experience
* Strong math skills, including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
* Ability to use precision measuring instruments
* Good blueprint reading skills
* Ability to adhere to quality standards

Working Environment:

* Shop environment with moderate noise level
* Exposure to dust, heat, and cold
