Carpentry Specialist

BELFOR Property Restoration is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in providing operational support for reconstruction efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

• Collaborate with experienced carpenters and supervisors to ensure seamless project execution
• Protect contents and construct containment for construction dust, dirt, and airborne contaminants
• Perform tasks related to floodcutting, salvaging, and labeling baseboards, cabinets, and doors
• Develop expertise in material knowledge, insulation installation, and framing, trim installation, and cabinetry installation
• Learn and understand MSDS protocols for chemicals used during mitigation processes
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain equipment in clean, serviceable condition
• Meet BELFOR standards in safeguarding other people's property
• Provide exceptional customer service and work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
• Work nights and weekends as requested and travel periodically
• Report time worked and equipment and consumables used timely and accurately

• Coordinating a small crew of unskilled laborers on most residential projects
• Answering simple questions about the project and deferring questions to more qualified personnel
• Maintaining equipment used in daily tasks
• Performing emergency services as needed, such as board-ups and securing buildings against further damage
