Job Title: Music Therapist, Recreation Therapist, or Art Therapist - Per Diem

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Per Diem Music Therapist, Recreation Therapist, or Art Therapist to join our team. As a member of our treatment team, you will provide direct patient care on assigned units, including Creative Therapy group sessions and doctor-ordered individual assessments. You will also complete Creative Therapy documentation, including assessments, group summaries, and billing within time constraints.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care on assigned units, including Creative Therapy group sessions and doctor-ordered individual assessments.
  • Complete Creative Therapy documentation, including assessments, group summaries, and billing within time constraints.
  • Serve as a member of the treatment team.
  • Understand and utilize principles of growth/development for adolescent patients and the age-specific needs of geriatric patients.
Requirements:
  • Music Therapist: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school and Board Certified Music Therapist.
  • Recreation Therapist: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school and Board Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.
  • Art Therapist: A Master's Degree from an accredited school and Registered Art Therapist.
  • Weekend required.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Inpatient psychiatric experience and ability to work with large groups preferred.
