Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Integrated Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain necessary medical, surgical, and radiological supplies for specific procedures according to established protocols.
  • Maintain sterility of the field and instruments.
  • Correctly prepare requisitions.
  • Communicate with patients and families before, during, and after procedures to alleviate anxiety while maintaining patient privacy and dignity.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and respect patient privacy.
  • Verify patient identification according to AHS policy.
  • Observe patient condition before and after contrast injections and report any sudden changes to nursing staff and radiologist.
  • Ensure availability of medical records, previous reports, labs, and patient history.
  • Be prepared to respond to emergencies and complications.
  • Maintain adequate linen supplies in each scanning room.
  • Maintain adequate contrast media and biopsy/drainage supplies in each scanning room.
  • Adhere to room assignments (CT 1, 2, and 3).
  • Assist in maintaining CT storeroom and outside inventory.
  • Participate in daily inventory and stocking of supplies.
  • Notify lead of expired or soon-to-expire equipment or medications.
  • Clean and inventory supplies.
  • Participate in routine cleaning of the CT gantry, table, and peripheral equipment after each use.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College-based Radiography program.
Certifications and Licenses
  • ARRT RT (R)
  • ARRT RT (CT)
  • NJDEP New Jersey State X-Ray License
  • BLS Certification
Language

English (Speak, Read, Write)
