Vehicle Technology Specialist

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced vehicle technician to join our team at Hendrick BMW. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems, as well as excellent mechanical skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough examinations of customer vehicles to identify necessary repairs and maintenance
- Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and perform services efficiently
- Document all services performed and maintain accurate records
- Fully comply with dealership and manufacturer service guidelines
- Source and utilize necessary parts and technologies effectively
- Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction levels
- Participate in required training and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- An associate degree or higher in an automotive-related field is preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a vehicle technician is essential
- A valid driver's license and state inspection/emissions license are mandatory
- A designated Master Technician certification from a respective manufacturer is desired
Work Environment:
- Duties are primarily performed in the service area
- Exposure to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service conditions may occur
- Frequent interactions with customers, service advisors, and the service manager are expected
Compensation Package:
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
