Mechanical Maintenance and Project Specialist in Petrochemical Sector

Qualifications:
A degree in engineering or a related discipline is essential.
Professional Background:
Proven experience with mechanical systems in a petrochemical or chemical facility is mandatory.
Prior experience as a project engineer within the petrochemical or chemical sector is required.
Hands-on experience in the upkeep of rotating and/or stationary equipment in process plants (such as refineries or petrochemical industries) is essential.
Experience in enhancing project operations for process facilities (e.g., refineries, petrochemical plants, or similar sectors) is necessary.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
Strong leadership and effective communication abilities are crucial.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards is essential.
Process Safety Management:
Knowledge of Process Safety Management principles is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and report on mechanical preventive maintenance activities.
Oversee mechanical project investments and process enhancement initiatives.
Execute modifications to machinery, design mechanical facilities, and manage construction for plant improvement projects, alongside evaluating all initiatives.
Develop and maintain engineering documentation for improvements and modifications, updating P&IDs and mechanical schematics.
Create and revise equipment repair protocols and manage inventory related to parts.
Engage in root cause analysis and failure investigations of process machinery.
Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine usage, minimize downtime, and enhance production efficiency.
Manage project tasks to align with budgetary constraints, timelines, safety standards, and organizational objectives.
Ensure all mechanical operations adhere to the company's health, environmental, and safety protocols, maintaining high standards of housekeeping and 5S practices.
Process Safety Management:
Knowledge of Process Safety Management is required.
