Expert Pediatric Critical Care Coding Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Profee Pediatric Critical Care Coder to join our team in a remote setting. As a critical member of our coding team, you will be responsible for accurately coding professional fee services for pediatric critical care, ensuring compliance with all applicable coding guidelines and payer requirements.
This is a highly specialized role that requires expertise in pediatric critical care coding, attention to detail, and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding standards, as well as proficiency in Epic and Encoder Pro platforms.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with physicians to ensure accurate and specific documentation, participate in physician rounds within the pediatric critical care unit, and review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate codes.
This is a full-time contract position that offers flexibility in scheduling, but requires a consistent 40-hour work week. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $28.00 - $33.00 per hour, plus benefits such as 401(k), dental insurance, flexible schedule, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of professional coding experience, specializing in pediatric critical care or within a children's hospital setting.
