Job Description

Criterion Child Enrichment is seeking an experienced Early Intervention Developmental Specialist to join our team. This role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in infant-toddler development, parent coaching, and service coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of all areas of infant-toddler development, including cognitive, social-emotional, and physical growth.
  • Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families to empower them to support their children's development.
  • Participate in comprehensive screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as part of a trans-disciplinary team.
  • Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area, ensuring continuity of care and support.
  • Collaborate with community providers to ensure seamless transitions for families, including childcare providers, medical professionals, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
  • Coordinate service delivery for assigned caseloads, including developing, monitoring, and reviewing Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in infants and toddlers, early childhood education, special education, or child studies.
  • 300 hours of practicum or work experience with children under five years old.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, and cloud-based technologies, including email management and virtual meetings.
  • Ability to utilize computer-based technology, including laptops and mobile devices.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Bilingual/Bicultural candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
