We are seeking a reliable and experienced Lead Youth Soccer Official to join our dynamic team at i9 Sports - North & West Denver, CO. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and fun environment for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of officials, ensuring games are on time and staff is well-trained.
- Cultivate a culture of sportsmanship and respect among staff, players, and coaches.
- Officiate games for youth teams, enforcing game rules and regulations to maintain fair and competitive play.
- Make accurate and timely calls during games, displaying a comprehensive knowledge of flag football rules and mechanics.
- Maintain control of the game and handle any conflicts or disputes that may arise in a professional and respectful manner.
- Collaborate with coaches and other officials to address any concerns and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Be punctual and reliable, showing up for scheduled games and assignments on time and fully prepared.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and act as a positive role model for young athletes.
- Prior experience as a Soccer referee is essential.
- Management Experience is needed.
- Thorough knowledge of rules and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate decisions clearly and confidently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to handle on-field situations efficiently.
- Dependable and punctual with a commitment to attending scheduled games and events.
- Ability to work well with children and maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
- Officiating certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Flexibility in working weekends and evenings during the season.
