Position: Artisan Pizza Chef

The Artisan Pizza Chef will be responsible for crafting delicious pizzas, innovating new recipes, and adhering to the culinary standards set by our Head Chef. Key responsibilities include ensuring the quality of pizzas aligns with Eli's high standards, mastering the pizza preparation area and oven operation, and upholding cleanliness and food safety protocols.

• Work flexible shifts, including weekends
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
• Prepare menu items according to established recipes and customer requests
• Operate a high-temperature brick oven
• Follow portion control and food safety regulations
• Utilize a thermometer for accurate cooking
• Communicate any delays in food preparation to the kitchen coordinator
• Monitor inventory levels of menu items and notify management of shortages
• Account for all items produced from your station
• Understand and manage food allergy procedures and special requests
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards
• Proficiently operate kitchen tools and equipment
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
• Proficiently use a thermometer

• Maintain accurate counts of menu items

This position involves various physical activities including visual acuity, auditory perception, verbal communication, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
