Center Administrator

The Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health is seeking a highly skilled Center Administrator to oversee the daily operations of a Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Service Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing operational goals, interpreting and administering departmental policies, training and evaluating staff, and overseeing organizational and programmatic operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise a mental health clinic operation, ensuring quality clinical services and compliance with New York State Mental Hygiene Laws.
- Organize and delegate clinical operation tasks, including case flow, medication, client charts, equipment, and maintenance.
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of clinical goals for the mental health clinic, aligning with the overall objectives of the Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health.
- Manage and schedule staff to ensure proper clinic coverage at all times.
- Direct all personnel and organizational activities to ensure the clinic provides quality services to the community with the greatest efficiency.
- Provide assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention for a caseload of patients and handle emergencies in the absence of assigned staff.
- Coordinate planning for 24/7 availability of crisis services for individuals admitted to the program.
- Possession of a valid license and current registration as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Five years of experience as a clinician in a mental health setting, with two years in a supervisory capacity over mental health professionals.
