Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician at Eddies Northside, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair of customer vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair of customer vehicles, including oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
  • Diagnostic Skills: Identify problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment and explain repairs and issues to customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Planning and Organization: Plan repair procedures using charts, manuals, and experience.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test the functionality of parts and systems and ensure that repairs meet quality standards.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other parts, and perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.
Requirements
  • Experience: Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to obtain additional certifications as needed.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to maintain a professional appearance, provide friendly customer service, and read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
