Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team at Blanco. As a Line Cook, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality dishes to our guests, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. If you're passionate about food, have a keen eye for detail, and are able to work well under pressure, we'd love to hear from you

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes from scratch, using fresh and high-quality ingredients
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure seamless service and high-quality dishes
  • Participate in menu planning and development, providing feedback and suggestions for new dishes and menu items

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of high-volume restaurant experience, preferably in a Mexican or Latin-inspired cuisine
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Eye for detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
