Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Elementary Physical Education Teacher to join our team at Charter Schools USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive physical education program that promotes student learning and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruction/Education Responsibilities
    • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the company's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
    • Design and deliver engaging physical education activities that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
    • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
    • Maintain accurate and complete student records.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
  • Classroom Environment
    • Create a safe and inclusive physical education environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
    • Ensure a clean and organized physical education space.
  • Instructional Planning
    • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with established guidelines and goals.
    • Plan and deliver physical education activities that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
  • School/Community Relations
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
    • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians through various channels.
    • Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other school events.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification or licensure.
  • Proven experience in physical education teaching or coaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
