Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Hematologist Oncologist to join our team at Sterling Physician Recruiters.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will diagnose and provide medical treatment for cancer, solid tumors, and benign and malignant blood disorders. They will work in an outpatient setting, writing and administering chemotherapy orders, performing bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures, and reviewing smears and referring patients for radiation oncology and surgery services as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat cancer, solid tumors, and blood disorders
  • Write and administer chemotherapy orders
  • Perform bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures
  • Review smears and refer patients for radiation oncology and surgery services
  • Evaluate oncology emergencies and treatment-related complications
  • Deliver chemo-infusion

Requirements

  • Board certification in Hematology/Oncology
  • New Mexico medical license or eligibility
