Role Summary:
The Leading Teacher Literacy Range 3 is a key leadership position within the school, responsible for driving improvements in literacy and numeracy outcomes for students. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced teacher, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to literacy and numeracy.
- Develop and implement effective literacy and numeracy programs, aligned with the school's strategic plan.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers to improve their literacy and numeracy teaching practices.
- Collaborate with other leaders to develop and implement school-wide initiatives to improve student outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to literacy and numeracy.
Requirements:
- Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
- Experience in teaching and leading literacy and numeracy programs.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teachers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with teachers, students, and parents.
