Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze data on client progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records to inform treatment decisions.
  • Implement behavior management strategies and techniques to address challenging behaviors, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our clients.
  • Support clients in acquiring and improving skills in various areas, such as communication, social interaction, and daily living activities, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide training and support in implementing behavior intervention strategies at home, ensuring a seamless transition between settings.
  • Attend regular team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
  • Experience working with individuals with behavioral and developmental disorders is preferred.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help individuals with special needs.
