Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop and implement behavior intervention plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals with behavioral and developmental disorders, promoting positive behavior change and skill acquisition.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records to inform treatment decisions.
- Implement behavior management strategies and techniques to address challenging behaviors, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our clients.
- Support clients in acquiring and improving skills in various areas, such as communication, social interaction, and daily living activities, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide training and support in implementing behavior intervention strategies at home, ensuring a seamless transition between settings.
- Attend regular team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral and developmental disorders is preferred.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help individuals with special needs.
