About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dialysis Nurse to join our team at SSM Health. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our dialysis units.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and dietitians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dialysis technology and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data collection and analysis, to drive continuous improvement in patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor support staff, including dialysis technicians and patient care technicians.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of registered nurse experience in dialysis or a related field.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
