Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech-Language Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language services to bilingual students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in bilingual students, and develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct speech and language therapy services in both English and Spanish to students in a school setting.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals, and participate in IEP meetings to provide input on student progress and strategies.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Licensure: Valid Texas SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Language Proficiency: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience: Experience in providing speech-language services in a school setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.
