Automotive Technician

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience, education, and ASE Certification. Work Schedule and Expectations

We operate Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. Our employees enjoy a healthy work-life balance, with weekends free to spend time with family and friends. As a Technician, you can expect to:

• Identify mechanical problems using visual inspection and computer diagnostic equipment.
• Perform tests on specific parts and systems to ensure proper function.
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tune-ups.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts and systems.
• Perform further tests to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A valid driver's license and the ability to be insured by our auto insurance.
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair.
• Excellent mechanical repair skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues.
• Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.
• Ability to read service and repair manuals.
• Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.
• Ability to read work orders.

Education and Experience

We require a high school diploma or equivalent and prefer ASE Certification A1 through A8. Three to five years of related experience is also preferred.

Physical Requirements

This role requires:

• Ability to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to inspect vehicles to determine repairs needed.
• Good vision to inspect repair work.
• Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
