Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Associate specializing in Pharmaceutical Analytical Testing to engage in our analytical testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in performing analytical evaluations on pharmaceutical products utilizing methodologies such as High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), and dissolution testing.

This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to our drug quality surveillance efforts, ensuring the integrity of the pharmaceutical supply chain in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct analytical evaluations of pharmaceutical samples employing HPLC, GC-MS, and dissolution testing techniques.
  2. Maintain precision and reliability in analyses through regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
  3. Interpret experimental findings, compile analytical reports, and convey results to project teams and stakeholders.
  4. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including research and development scientists from partner laboratories.
  5. Assist in diagnosing analytical challenges and implementing corrective measures to uphold laboratory compliance with industry standards.
  6. Stay informed about advancements in analytical methodologies, regulatory changes, and industry trends to effectively support project requirements.
Qualifications:
  1. Possession of a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline, with relevant industrial or academic experience.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical analytical testing, with a strong focus on HPLC and GC-MS; experience in dissolution testing is preferred but not mandatory.
  3. Postdoctoral candidates are highly regarded.
  4. Proficient in the operation of analytical instruments, including HPLC and GC-MS systems.
  5. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the aptitude to interpret complex datasets and resolve analytical issues.
  6. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and adhering to deadlines.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
