Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Court Clerk to join our team at the City of Brighton Colorado. As a Court Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical tasks and procedures in support of the Municipal Court.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to the public, judges, and court staff
  • Process and maintain accurate records of court cases, including filing and retrieving documents
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of court documents, such as summons and warrants
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in our court management system
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a clerical or administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
