Packaging Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Packaging Technician to join our Operations Department at Eden Foods in Clinton, Michigan.
Job DescriptionThe Packaging Technician will be responsible for:
- Performing scheduled food packaging work with attention to detail and quality.
- Maintaining accurate records of daily production and quality control.
- Ensuring good production yields with minimal inventory loss.
- Verifying accuracy of labels, target fill weights, and package codes.
- Operating equipment safely and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Assisting with quality identification and proper handling of inventory.
To be successful as a Packaging Technician, you should have:
- Experience and education sufficient to perform the duties, and a willingness to learn.
- The ability to lift 50 pounds waist high, intermittently over the course of a normal day.
- Good standing work endurance during shifts.
- Basic math skills and written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical.
- Prior experience in food safety procedures is an asset.
$45,000 - $55,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
