Radiology Team Leader

Next Move Healthcare is seeking a skilled Radiology Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of medical imaging exams for patients of all ages, applying principles, theories, and techniques relevant to your modality to provide reliable test results.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, with the ability to lead daily patient workflow and manage department tasks. You will also be responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, as well as maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality.
As a Radiology Team Leader, you will work closely with our healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our imaging department. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic medical imaging exams across various modalities (Radiologic Technology, Mammography, CT, MRI), applying appropriate principles and techniques to obtain accurate test results.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
- Lead daily patient workflow and manage department tasks, prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and confidentiality, upholding the highest level of professionalism.
- Utilize imaging systems and ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in the relevant modality.
- Current Oregon license or temporary Oregon permit for recent graduates pending ARRT certification, to be obtained within one year.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Image Wisely pledge certificate, obtained within 30 days of hire and renewed annually by January 30.
- Image Gently pledge certificate, obtained within 30 days of hire and renewed annually by January 30.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
