Job Description:
The Heavy Equipment Maintenance Professional position is designed for individuals passionate about learning the fundamentals of equipment maintenance and repair in a hands-on environment.
Under the guidance of experienced mechanics, you will gain valuable skills and knowledge to support your growth in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in routine maintenance and repair of heavy machinery, vehicles, and equipment.
- Learn to troubleshoot mechanical issues under the supervision of senior mechanics.
- Perform basic inspections to identify wear and tear, leaks, and other common maintenance needs.
- Safely operate tools and equipment to assist in repairs and replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Clean and organize the work area and tools to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety standards and protocols during all maintenance activities.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- BASIC MECHANICAL APTITUDE OR PRIOR HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN A WORKSHOP SETTING IS A PLUS.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills is essential.
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are required.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members are necessary.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions is expected.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
- LAWFUL ABILITY TO WORK IN THE U.S.
Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
