1. Delivers exceptional guest service to both internal and external patrons, embodying the #AddLife culture in all interactions.
2. Cultivates a supportive and motivating environment for fellow Team Members.
3. Addresses issues within the scope of authority and suggests solutions for matters beyond this scope to the supervisor.
4. Maintains confidentiality of all sensitive information in accordance with established company policies and state regulations.
5. Welcomes each guest upon arrival, processes payments, and ensures a seamless ordering experience.
6. Prepares the cash register by obtaining cash from the Main Bank and setting up the cash drawer before the shift begins.
7. Ensures that the shift is well-prepared with necessary supplies for success.
8. Accurately computes bills, provides correct change, and issues receipts.
9. Closes the register at the end of the shift, including counting the drawer and completing required paperwork.
10. Returns cash to the main bank post-shift.
11. Prepares the assigned section for service before the shift commences.
12. Adheres to quality service standards and implements cost control measures.
13. Engages in various roles throughout the shift, including cooking, cashiering, serving, bussing, and dishwashing.
14. Follows established policies and procedures regarding customer service and service sequences.
15. Completes all assigned side work before the end of the shift.
16. Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment.
17. Prepares a variety of hot and cold food items, including sauces and garnishes, according to established recipes.
18. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of advanced food preparation and handling techniques.
19. Understands the operation, cleaning, and maintenance of all kitchen equipment.
20. Upholds extensive knowledge of safety and sanitation standards and enforces compliance.
21. Prepares entrees, salads, and desserts in accordance with preparation sheets and recipes.
22. Coordinates advance preparation based on forecasts and headcounts.
23. Inspects all food leaving the kitchen to ensure quality presentation and cleanliness.
24. Conducts daily food temperature checks to ensure safety for guests.
25. Ensures quality assurance by inspecting ingredients and adherence to preparation and storage specifications.
26. Completes preparation records and properly stores food items at the end of service.
27. Cleans work areas and equipment used in food preparation, ensuring compliance from others.
28. Regularly cleans and empties the dishwashing machine as needed.
29. Efficiently washes and organizes dishes according to established practices.
30. Replaces bus tubs promptly upon arrival in the dish area.
31. Cleans all dishes and maintains the dish area before breaks and at the end of the shift.
32. Sweeps and mops floors, ensuring cleanliness under tables and racks.
33. Cleans and dries pots, pans, and utensils before storage.
34. Removes trash as needed during and at the end of the shift.
35. Continuously monitors trash cans for cleanliness.
36. Informs the F&B Manager of any necessary supplies for operations.
37. Properly stores deliveries upon receipt.
38. Demonstrates knowledge of fire safety and departmental procedures.
39. Follows correct procedures for lifting, equipment operation, and knife usage.
40. Keeps the position supervisor informed of relevant activities.
41. Performs other duties as assigned.
Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities: Each Team Member is responsible for compliance with laws and regulations, including attending required training sessions, obtaining necessary licenses, and adhering to local laws.
Position Qualifications: High School diploma or GED; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Virginia Racing Commission License, Serv-Safe certification.
