We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished water resources engineer to join our team as a Highly Experienced Water Resources Engineering Professional. This role involves leading and managing complex water resources projects from conception to completion, collaborating with our President/Principal in Charge, and working closely with a talented team of engineers, planners, and technical specialists to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading large-scale projects, including planning, design, and construction management for potable water, recycled water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
  • Managing all aspects of project delivery, including scope development, budget management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Overseeing the design of pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, wells, treatment plants, and storm drain facilities, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  • Serving as a mentor and guide to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering their professional development and growth.

Requirements:

  • 10+ Years of Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in water resources engineering, with at least 5+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Licensed Professional: Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in the State of California is required.
  • Water Industry Expertise: A minimum of 5+ years of experience working for a water utility company, water district, or a local agency's water engineering/utilities division.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
