We are seeking a skilled Personal Care Associate to join our team at VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role:

This is a per diem position that requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability. You will be working with patients in Bennington County, providing a wide range of services including personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and report patient data to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Assist with communication of information to assigned patients.
  • Perform interventions and procedures as directed to ensure safe and effective quality of care.
  • Document care provided to ensure effective integration of information for the healthcare team.
  • Advocate for patient care issues to ensure quality and type of care is sensitive to each patient's needs.
  • Perform household chores, including sweeping, mopping, laundry, and meal preparation.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License and Current Auto Insurance.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Weekend and holiday rotation required.

Benefits:

  • Earn your LNA for free after one year of employment and 1000 hours worked.
