Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Operations Manager at Walgreens, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department. This includes ensuring efficient workflow, a positive patient experience, and compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage pharmacy operations, including patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, patients, and team members to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous people management/leadership experience.
  • Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
