OK Foods is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex machinery and equipment in our industrial establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and Test Equipment: Visually inspect machinery and support equipment prior to use, and test machinery and supporting equipment after repair and prior to use.
  • Troubleshoot and Repair: Troubleshoot inoperable or malfunctioning machinery and supporting equipment to detect root cause, and repair or replace parts as needed.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of the machinery and supporting equipment as part of our Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Electrical and Piping Systems: Install and repair electrical apparatus, including transformers and wiring, electrical and electronic components, and lay out, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Physical Structure and Machine Tools: Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment, and operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts, and set up and operate machine tools such as a lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machinery to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, and experience with machine tools and equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with users and management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment and parts, and work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Working Conditions:

This is a safety-sensitive position, and the selected candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards.
