Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at the IU Biddle Hotel. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our guest rooms and campus residential spaces. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a positive impact on our guests' experiences.
Responsibilities- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including removing and changing dirty linens, cleaning and disinfecting floors, hard surfaces, bathrooms, and fixtures, and restocking amenities and linens.
- Conduct room inspections to ensure proper adherence to cleanliness standards.
- Complete cleaning logs and report any issues or concerns to management.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide excellent customer service to our guests.
- Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in housekeeping, custodial work, or a related field.
- Proficient communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move objects with ease.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent bending, lifting, and standing. The IU Biddle Hotel is a smoke-free and fragrance-free environment.
