FULL-TIME PASTRY CHEF
  • We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pastry Chef for a full-time position.
  • Schedule: Full-time hours, Monday through Friday, with variable hours. Further details will be provided during the interview process.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in pastry cooking is essential.
  • Compensation: Pay range between $19.00 and $22.00 per hour.

Job Overview:

Summary: Responsible for the creation, planning, and oversight of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production and distribution of all pastry items.
  • Ensure adherence to recipes and standards, manage food costs, and prepare appropriate quantities based on production needs.
  • Maintain proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
  • Monitor and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the pastry kitchen and equipment, complying with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Supervise kitchen and pastry staff, including hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, and performance reviews.
  • Assist in planning and implementing seasonal menus.
  • Order and manage pastry supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
