Position Summary:

The organization operates within a hybrid environment utilizing both Azure and GCP, embarking on a comprehensive 10-year cloud evolution strategy. The Senior Cloud Security Architect will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for this transformation, spearheading various Cloud Security initiatives, and managing engineering tasks from inception to completion. This position presents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive Cloud Security expertise to contribute to a major banking institution's Cloud Transformation, setting a benchmark for the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and influence the client's public cloud strategy, ensuring seamless migration and operational efficiency of tools and systems within the cloud, with a focus on safeguarding the Public Cloud Environment.
  • Develop and implement security policies within Cloud Environments.
  • Oversee IAM Security Workloads established in the Cloud.
  • Enhance security measures within Kubernetes Container Environments to protect sensitive information processed in the cloud.
  • Advance Cloud Environments, including Landing Zones, and fortify these infrastructures.
  • Define services offered to clients and strategies for securing their Cloud environments.

This role involves designing, documenting, testing, maintaining, and providing recommendations for resolving issues related to moderately complex security solutions encompassing networking, cryptography, cloud services, authentication/directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security. The Senior Cloud Security Architect will also provide security consulting for medium-scale projects to ensure compliance with corporate information security policies and standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Lead computer security incident response efforts for moderately complex events, conducting thorough technical investigations of security incidents and performing post-incident digital forensics to identify root causes and suggest future mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze and correlate security logs to identify vulnerabilities and perform risk assessments, evaluating potential remediation options.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in leading security solutions and best practices for implementing components of information security, including availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification/modeling/monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity.
  • Engage with senior management as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in information security applications and systems.
  • 4+ years of experience in information technology applications and systems.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced technical skills in Information Security.
  • Proven ability to manage complex issues and devise effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
