We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at UT Health Quitman in Quitman, TX.
Responsibilities- Provide technical and clinical support for respiratory care services throughout the hospital.
- Stay current with new developments in respiratory care.
- Evaluate and make recommendations for services.
- Maintain proficiency in providing respiratory care services, including aerosolized medication delivery systems, breathing exercises, oxygen delivery devices, postural drainage, pulse oximetry, and bedside pulmonary function testing.
- Participate in in-service education and maintain high standards of professionalism.
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Program or related experience.
- Current TX Respiratory Care License.
- Basic Life Saving Certification.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, one year of related experience, AARC Membership, and National Specialty Certification.
