Medical Oncologist

Duke Health, a leading academic medical center, is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join its esteemed team at the Duke Cancer Institute. As a Clinician/Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, advancing medical knowledge, and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive medical oncology services to patients with various types of cancer, including breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, melanoma, and thoracic cancers.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct clinical research to improve cancer diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the art and science of medical oncology.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Board certification in Hematology and Oncology.
- Eligibility for faculty appointment at Duke University.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
