Job Summary
The Director of Nursing Services is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the nursing department to ensure high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing care provided by registered nurses, licensed vocational/practical nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and services.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility with a strong survey record.
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Records Management systems.
- Demonstrated skills in systems management, communication, and organizational skills.
