Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safety of the casino and all personnel and visitors.
- Monitors all monetary transactions and the physical movement of cash and tokens within the casino premises.
- Engages with guests and staff in a courteous manner and collaborates with local law enforcement as necessary.
- Conducts thorough patrols of all casino and hotel areas.
- Assists guests with access to their rooms.
- Responds promptly to incidents involving guest or employee injuries or health concerns.
- Conducts room checks as directed by supervisors.
- Secures crime scenes for investigation by relevant authorities.
- Utilizes scanning technology to document patrol activities.
- Facilitates table game fills, transports markers to the main cash area, and verifies slot machine jackpots.
- Provides assistance to guests with disabilities, including wheelchair support.
- Leads evacuation procedures during emergencies and offers assistance to guests as required.
- Manages key assignments through the Key-Trac system for fellow associates.
- Ensures adherence to all relevant gaming regulations and internal company policies, including Title 31 and federal guidelines.
- Operates the fire control center and lost and found as needed.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret safety regulations, operational instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Capable of drafting routine reports and correspondence.
- Preferred:
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or emergency medical services.
- Required Work Cards:
- Alcohol awareness certification.
- Gaming certification.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and in environments with high noise levels.
- Frequent walking, standing, and indoor work (over 75% of the time).
- Vision, hearing, speech, and literacy skills are essential.
