Job Summary

At Selmet, we are seeking a skilled Wax Assembler to join our team in our Titanium Manufacturing department. As a Wax Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production of high-quality titanium castings and components for the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and assemble wax patterns to specifications using various tools.
  • Visually inspect wax patterns for defects and accurately code numbers for identification.
  • Recognize and understand the cause of defects in wax patterns and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain quality requirements and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Keep workstations and equipment clean, safe, and organized.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Solid job history with more than 1 year at previous or recent employer.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening.
Work Environment

Exposure to fumes from melting wax. Duties are performed in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment. May be exposed to dust, dirt, fumes, noise, and chemicals. Required to wear safety glasses in the performance of duties.

Schedule

Weekend Day Shift - Friday-Sunday ($1.25/hr. shift differential)
