Lower Elementary Teacher/Tutor

We are seeking a part-time Lower Elementary Teacher/Tutor to join our team at GradePower Learning Largo. As an Interactive Coach, you will work directly with students, teaching up to 6 students at a time at different levels, following our proprietary methodologies and philosophies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching core subjects and/or SAT/ACT in a fun and engaging manner
• Providing individualized attention and support to students
• Filling in post-lesson notes and completing daily student communication updates
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in college/university
• Teaching certification an asset
• Some experience teaching/tutoring at a first to 12th grade (or equivalent) level is preferred
• Experience with teaching/tutoring younger students (ages 4-8) an asset
• SAT/ACT tutoring experience an asset

Work Schedule:

• Mon - Fri (9:00am - 1:00pm) and optional portions of after-school and evening hours Mon - Fri (3:00pm - 7:00pm)
