School Psychologist Position

We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist to promote the mental health and academic success of students in Union City, CA.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths.
- Develop and implement individualized interventions and strategies to support students' emotional and behavioral health.
- Provide counseling services to students individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Provide training and support to school staff on mental health issues and effective classroom strategies.
- Participate in crisis intervention and provide support during critical incidents.
- Advocate for students' mental health needs and connect families with community resources.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid California School Psychologist credential.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
