We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA/Caregiver to join our team at Right at Home Southern Maryland. As a CNA/Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, providing personalized care and support in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA/Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our clients, including:

  • Assisting with bathing, showering, and dressing
  • Providing incontinence care and toileting assistance
  • Transferring, positioning, and caring for bed-bound patients
  • Ambulation assistance and medication reminders
  • Monitoring diet and nutrition by preparing meals and grocery lists
  • Providing hospice supportive care and mail assistance

You will also have the opportunity to engage in indoor and outdoor activities with our clients, such as physical, speech, and occupational therapy exercises, reading books, playing games or cards, and taking walks to reduce the risk of slips and falls.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license
  • High school graduate or GED certificate preferred
  • A reliable and insured automobile
  • An active CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification
  • The ability to pass a background check
  • Homecare experience with a client or family member
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
