Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Hutchinson Clinic P.A. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic x-ray procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with our radiologists and healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic x-ray procedures as directed by physicians, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Verify patient and exam information, position patients appropriately, and select the correct equipment and exposure factors.
  • Assist radiologists and PAs during special procedures, monitor patient conditions, and perform DEXA scans.
  • Prepare studies for radiologist review, complete procedure information, and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in the supervision of student technologists and new hires, and perform related work as required.
Requirements
  • At least six months of similar or related experience.
  • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study in radiologic technology.
  • Current certification (ARRT) (R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and Kansas State licensure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of computed radiology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as common safety hazards and precautions.
