At Deborah Heart and Lung Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Informatics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, strategically directing, and coordinating the implementation of all clinical and related systems used by the Patient Care Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and implement clinical and related systems to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with clinical and technical personnel to ensure effective application of information technology.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of medical information systems and their applications.
- Provide training and support to staff on the use of clinical systems.
- Monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in medical information systems and 3-5 years clinical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with clinical and technical personnel.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Computer Sciences, or related field.
- Working knowledge of PCs, MS Office Applications, including MS Project.
- AANC Certification in Nursing Informatics is desired.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Nursing Informatics.
- Proficient in Meditech.
Work Schedule:
- Bi-Weekly: 80 hours per pay period.
- M - F/ Day Shift.
