We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Tekfortune Inc. as an Emergency Department Nurse in California. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, prioritizing data collection based on the patient's immediate condition or needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, collaborating with other healthcare team members as needed.
- Perform appropriate treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide individualized patient and family education, promoting health and wellness.
- Document patient assessment findings, physical and psychosocial responses to nursing interventions, and progress towards problem resolution.
- Initiate emergency resuscitative measures according to established protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to standards of safety and infection control in patient care.
- Assist nursing staff in other departments as needed, and assume professional responsibility for ensuring patient care meets the highest standards.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure in good standing in the state of California.
- 1 year of experience as an Emergency Department nurse preferred.
- ACLS, PALS, and CPR certification.
- NRP and TNCC required within one year of hire date.
The successful candidate will be required to work beyond normal working hours and in other positions temporarily when necessary. They will be involved with personnel, visitors, and government agencies, and must function independently, have personal integrity, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with other personnel, clients, and support agencies.
Physical RequirementsThe candidate must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, walk, and move intermittently during working hours. They must be able to lift 50 pounds.
