The Role of a Registered Nurse Operating Room
In this critical role, you will promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA while assessing patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care. You will develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care, serving as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning patient care. Your expertise will ensure seamless execution of care, making a significant impact on patient outcomes. To succeed in this position, you will need excellent communication skills, a compassionate attitude, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing and one year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience. You must also hold current state nursing licensure in good standing, possess Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of employment, and demonstrate ACLS and PALS certifications when pediatric care is involved. Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is highly valued.
